Ginnie Hsu crafts her stories amid the enchanting landscapes of Upstate New York, where her Taiwanese roots and a profound connection to nature imbue her work with a sense of wonder. Her illustrations radiate warmth and depth, revealing the magic in everyday interactions and the enduring bonds between individuals and the earth. In her role at Syracuse University, she shares her insights with the artists of tomorrow. Ginnie’s vision is also taking shape in a unique space where artistry and sustainability converge, creating a living testament to her commitment to inspired, eco-conscious living.

Alongside Luna and Boba, her companions, and amidst the blooms of her garden, she conjures a world where every creation is an adventure, and life itself is a canvas for magical possibilities. Further enriching this vibrant canvas is The Garden People, collaborating with friends Libby and Jess. This biannual zine, born from a shared love of illustration and gardening, invites readers to discover more about their vision for a community united by creativity and nature.
